The National Golf Club Azerbaijan

The National Golf Club Azerbaijan

Located in the stunning countryside of Guba in north-eastern Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan National Golf Club is nestled amid natural forests near the stunning Caucasus Mountains. It was designed by Jon Hunt from International Golf Design and was the first 72-par 18-hole golf course to appear in Azerbaijan. Moreover, during the summer of 2014, less than two months after its official opening, the club hosted the Azerbaijan Challenge Open, Azerbaijan’s inaugural professional event. Positioned within 75 hectares of idyllic Azerbaijani nature, the course is characterised by its beautifully undulating fairways lined by apple trees and dotted with deep bunkers and lakes that create plenty of challenges for golfers of all levels. However it looks harder than it plays, so everyone can enjoy it. The Clubhouse has luxurious locker rooms, a professional shop and a restaurant serving excellent food and drink, not to mention the magnificent views of the course. There is a practice zone with putting and chipping areas and a driving range to perfect your skills in. And you can stay over at the fabulous on-site Quba Palace Hotel.
